November Member LetterGM Letter November
Dear Friends at TCLS,
First, I would like to let any Member who was unable to attend our 1st Annual Masquerade Ball that you missed one of the best parties of the year! Greg and Madison had the entire Club decorated, Jason and his team offered great food and drink and the Band “Party Nation” rocked the house! Everyone came dressed in their best with a wide variety of great Masquerade masks and costumes! We will do our best to select a date that works better for more of our Members for the 2nd Annual Ball in 2022.
November is here and we are already beginning to prepare for the many celebrations to come. Please watch for our Member Events such as the Grand Opening of our Short Game Practice Facility, Thanksgiving Day Buffet, our Complimentary Member Christmas Party, Lake Lights Boat Tours and our Rocking New Year’s Eve Party with Fireworks at midnight. All events are being held exclusively for the enjoyment of our Members only!
As we host so many Member Holiday Celebration events and many of our Members travel to visit family and friends at this time of year, we will discontinue our Family Value Meals in Mid-November, resuming this great event the first Tuesday in January. Thank you for your understanding!
We will once again offer our Members the opportunity to donate to the Member sponsored Employee Christmas Fund. As is our tradition, we will bill each Membership $30.00 to be donated to a fund that will be divided among all hourly employees, to include Aubri Lanes Staff. This program has been very well received by our Members and is greatly appreciated by our employees. If you prefer not to participate, please call Renee at 478-452-3525 ext. 204 to opt out.
We are excited to be nearing completion of our new Short Game Practice Facility. We have a new Tif- Eagle 7500 sq ft putting green with practice bunker and 7500 sq ft of chipping surround, new range balls as well as a new range ball picker and washer. We have sprayed the weeds on the range and increased our frequency of mowing for carpet like conditions. In the spring, we intend to re-sod the practice tee with Celebration Bermuda, a grass with an aggressive growth that will allow divots to repair in a shorter period of time, greatly improving tee area conditions. Lastly, we will get a vending machine for range balls so our golfing Members can use the range at any time, even when the Golf Shop is closed. Currently, our range plan averages about $17 per month and is billed on an annual basis. It is our plan to reduce the price of our Range Program to just $10 per month. This monthly charge will be billed to all in-town Golf Members beginning with your January statement. If you have any questions, please feel free to call me on my personal cell at 478-290-9700.
Last month I promised that my health update would be my last! However there were a few complications in October that set us back about a month. Fortunately, all issues are in the rear view and we begin radiation treatment on Monday November 8th for 5 weeks. Thanks to all that have said prayers and send their well wishes. Your support is amazing. I can’t wait to get back to serving you on a full time basis!
